Varsity Swim & Dive Sends 7 Girls to State Meet

Seven girl’s will represent OFA at the Swim & Dive Championships at Ithaca College on November 16th & 17th.
Kat Chang – 1 meter diving

Devon McFadden – 200 Medley relay, 200 freestyle relay, 100 butterfly, 100 backstroke

Jamie Zielinski – 200 medley relay, 200 freestyle relay, 100 butterfly, 400 freestyle relay

Sam Kuchinski – 200 medley relay, 100 freestyle, 200 freestyle relay, 400 freestyle relay

Chelsea Angulas – 200 freestyle relay, 400 freestyle relay

Katie Scott – 400 freestyle relay

Marissa Scott – 200 medley relay

Volleyball Wins Section IV Championship

The Owego Indians Varsity Volleyball team defeat the Oneonta Yellow Jackets in 4 games on Saturday 11/3 to win the Section IV Championship. After losing the first game 22-25; Owego came back winning 25-23, 25-21 and finally 25-9. The team came home to a warm welcome and police escort parade to the high school.

The volleyball team travels to Corning East on Monday November 12th to compete in the Regional Final.

Cross Country Heads to State Championship Meet

Parrish Bridges, James Felice, Pat Sargent, Deirdre Nolis and Erin Gunther all qualified as Individuals for the 2012 New York State meet.  The championship meet will be held on Saturday November 10th at Elma Meadows.
