Owego Free Academy’s Laurel Neira has signed a letter of commitment to play soccer for Division II East Stroudsburg University.
The OFA senior has been a starting defender on the varsity soccer team since her freshman year. She has been a member of two sectional title-winning teams, and one STAC championship team, as well as being part of four division titles. Neira has been named all-conference three times, and all-division twice.
Laurel Neira is the daughter of Diane Neira and Lou Neira (pictured above).
East Stroudsburg University’s women’s soccer team went 10-5-5 last fall, with an 8-3-3 conference record. Common opponents of the Warriors include: Mansfield, Mercyhurst, Kutztown, IUP (Indiana, Pa.), Gannon and Shippensburg.
